Pierre Jean Larraqué, already owner of Château Vernous in Médoc Cru Bourgeois, Château le Virou in Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux, Châteaux Barre Gentillot and Senau in Graves de Vayres and Château de Barre in Bordeaux Supérieur, has just made the acquisition of Château Grand Marceaux, a vineyard of 6 hectares in Médoc. On sandy-gravel and sandy-clay soils, Château Grand Marceaux contains 62% of Merlot and 38% of Cabernet Sauvignon and brings Pierre Jean Larraqué Vineyard to 233 hectares of vines.
